Day 1

Upon arrival at the Zagreb Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to our luxurious Esplanade Hotel. At 18:00 join your Travelling Concierge and fellow travellers for a Welcome Dinner.

Day 2

Experience Zagreb’s exciting mix of medieval and modern with your Local Expert. Visit the iconic Mirogoj City Cemetery, a carefully manicured park with a cavalcade of cupolas and elegant terraces. Stand in Ban Jelačić Square before riding the funicular to the Upper Town. Enjoy the panorama over the capital, see the colourful roof of St. Mark’s Church and view the shrine of Virgin Mary at the Stone Gate.

Day 3

Head to the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park for a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience and learn about the Park’s invaluable research work and conservation of its native species. Day 4

Embark on a culinary journey around Istria, where you’ll begin by truffle-hunting with a local farmer and his well-trained hounds, and sample a selection of salamis, spreads and cheeses prepared with this gourmet delicacy. Day 5

Join your Travelling Concierge in Opatija for a stroll around the Botanical Garden and the town’s market before savoring lunch. After your lunch on land, it's time to appreciate the magnificent waters of Croatia. Board your luxurious cruise ship and settle in for your upcoming week sailing the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea to Pula for your overnight stay.

Day 6

Day 8

Spend your day sailing through the maze of 89 rocky islands in the Kornati National Park. Cruise past ruins of the ancient Illyrian fortress, Roman villas, and medieval settlements. Enjoy an olive oil tasting and cooking demonstration before you arrive to Primošten, a typical small Dalmatian coastal town well-known for its vineyards. Day 9

The most unique destination awaits as you journey to Vis, the furthest inhabited island from the mainland. As a strategic naval base for the Yugoslav Army, it was cut off from outsiders until 1989 and is still considered to be an untouched piece of paradise. Vis has been influenced by plenty of great European civilizations starting from the Greeks and Romans, through the Venetians all the way to the Austro-Hungarians, creating a special blend of culture. Day 10

Weather permitting, rise early to be among the first visitors at the magnificent Blue Cave, a natural wonder offering an incredibly rich palette of blue colours. Take a dip before cruising to Hvar, famed for being the sunniest island in Croatia. In Hvar Town, see the Baroque St. Stephen's Cathedral, famous for its bell tower and community theatre, founded in 1612. YOUR JOURNEY, YOUR WAY. Choose to visit a friendly family winery for a wine tasting of local produce followed by lunch. Alternatively, visit a hilltop restaurant for a traditional Dalmatian feast prepared over the open fire. Day 11

Cruise to Brač island and see Zlatni Rat (the Golden Horn), a fascinating beach continuously shifting its shape in accordance with the movement of the waves. Visit the delightful town of Bol before continuing to Split, where your Local Expert guides you through the Old Town and the remains of Diocletian’s Palace. Celebrate your final night on your cruise ship with a delicious feast.

Day 12

Continue your journey on land as you pass the fertile and colourful fields of the Neretva River Delta. Stop in the picturesque fishing village of Mali Ston, see the floating oyster beds and savour a mouthful of oysters straight from the sea. Back on shore enjoy lunch prepared with seasonal ingredients. After your arrival to your seaside hotel in Dubrovnik, take time to relax. Day 13

Day 14

Your Croatian journey comes to an end and it’s time to say goodbye as you are transferred to Dubrovnik Airport.
